Under their lighthearted directional moniker, this Berlin/London-based duo’s sound is punctuated by their musical roots in deep soulful blues and whispy jazz arrangements. Having played alongside the distinguished likes of Frivolous, Giles Smith, James Preistley, Solomun, Stimming, and Tomoki Tamura, they recently debuted on Rico Casazza’s Release Sustain imprint, hotly pursued by an EP on Boe Recordings and a bomb to be released on Catz n Dogz’s label Pets this summer. They run a night called Selective Pressure, bringing a focus on collaboration to the house scene, notable in its recent ties to secretsundaze, and also hold a residency for Tomoki Tamura’s very own Holic parties.
