2003
Two DJ’s and one VJ create eightBitRate – a multimedia project of underground music and video performances inspired by early 8BIT electronic games. They took their first steps in their home city of Naples, where they created interactive parties which included nights of 8BIT videogames, electronic music, acid colors and stunning visuals! After the huge success of these parties they started to perform in several clubs around the city, supporting artists such as Trentemoller, Grove Armada, Chicken Lips, Oliver Koletktzi, Todd Terry and many more.
2007
Two DJ’s by the names of Alfa and Beta move to London and take up DJ residency at Disco Geisha, a monthly night at the infamous Notting Hill Arts Club hosted by Japanese DJ Tomoki Tamura. Within one year the two DJ’s were playing in London’s top clubs including the legendary Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Sosho, The A.K.A, Egg and Bar 54 to name just a few. Meanwhile VJ Gamma has been performing in Italy with some of the biggest and best names in the dance and electronic music industry including world renowned DJ’s The Chemical Brothers, Tiesto, Luciano and Francois K.
